Summary:
Bamboo trap-nest (10 cm long) split lengthways to reveal completed nest of Megachile monstrosa containing two brood cells with feeding larvae. At least two different kinds of chewed, dry plant material had been used to construct barricades (b1 closed the inner end, b2 and b3 capped the brood cells and b4 sealed the nest); darker material coated the walls around the brood cells; the pollen provisions (ppl, pp2) were semi-solid.
