Summary:
Chris Dickman checking an Elliott trap, with an open pitfall trap at his foot. Lines of traps are usually set to maximise the chances of catching animals, and here a line of paired Elliott and pitfall traps can be seen running out from the shrub. In open areas such as this, early trap checks are essential to ensure that animals are released and traps closed before the sun gets too high. Source: Paul Zborowski.
