Summary:
Clambering easily down a scree slope, this Long-tailed Dunnart (Sminthopsis longicaudata) uses ridges on its hind feet to gain grip on the rock surface and its exceptionally long tail to maintain balance. As with other dunnarts, invertebrates form the major part of the diet. Source: Jiri Lochman.
