Summary: 
Mary Phillips, a Djabwurrung woman from central Victoria stands wearing a possum skin cloak which as William Thomas and others noted was worn ‘closely wrapped around her’. In the photograph Mary is wearing the possum skin cloak over Western dress. She holds a basket, boomerang, digging stick and spear, at her feet are another 2 baskets and a boomerang.
