Note that song duration varies considerably, from 5 minutes through to over an hour and a half. B, It was most common for birds to warble for 1–10 minutes in one bout of song; however, there was a fairly even spread across four time periods. The variations of length of warbles between and within individual birds were substantial. Some individuals warbled regularly for no more than 5–10 minutes at a time while others engaged in song bouts of more than 1 hour or alternated between short and long song sessions.
