Summary:
Successful nest site choices over 10 years for one pair. The magpies chose different nest sites in the same group of pine trees but in slightly different locations: left (used two seasons), middle (used for five seasons), right (two seasons). In the first year the female chose a nest site in a slender tree (third from left) and this nest was destroyed (hence not marked) and no further nesting attempts occurred that first year.
