(b) Artabotrys is a widespread genus of vines that range from tropical Africa and Madagascar, to India and Australia. Although there are around 100 species in total, there is only one native representative: Artabotrys carnosipetalus. The Ylang-ylang vine (A. hexapetalus) is an Asian medicinal species that is widely cultivated in the tropics.
