Summary:
The leaves of the Stinking Aristolochia (Aristolochia pubera var. pubera) are described as having an odoriferous (even obnoxious) quality. The vine, which is a food plant for the Big Greasy or Clearwing Swallowtail butterfly (Cressida cressida), is widespread along the Queensland coastline (Elliott Heads–Cape York). Its distribution extends to the Northern Territory, New Guinea and Timor.
