Summary:
Cooper Creek (a) and Oliver Creek (b) are rainforest refuges for the rare Idiospermum australiense. The name Ribbonwood was bestowed upon this tree in the 1800s by the early timber cutters due to its appealing light and dark banded woodgrain.
