Summary: 
Brown Walnut (Endiandra acuminata, pictured) is a large tree (up to 30 m) that yields a black fruit typical of many Endiandra species. Rainforest timbers from the genus Endiandra include this species, the Northern Rose Walnut (E. cowleyana), the Rusty or Hairy Walnut (E. insignis) and the Queensland, Black or Australian Walnut (E. palmerstonii).
