Summary:
Old terraces of stone walls built when agriculture was the main land use become visible after fire events in Mediterranean areas. Forests have invaded those areas where agriculture has been abandoned for decades. Pictures are from Montgo Natural Park in Javea, Alicante (E. Spain) some months after a wildfire in 2015. Photos: J.
