Summary:
(A) Booroolong frog Litoria booroolongensis depositing eggs in a rock crevice in shallow water. Such crevices in shallow water are critical for the persistence of this species. (B) Stock access to a stream occupied by Litoria booroolongensis. Increased sedimentation associated with stock access and loss of riparian vegetation results in smothering and loss of the rock crevices that are critical for the persistence of this species.
