Summary:
(A) Basking female Litoria spenceri. Basking behaviour may afford this species some capacity for self-cure or management of Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis infections. (B) Location of the newly established population of Litoria spenceri in NSW. Compared with the historic known locations of this species in NSW, this new location has a more open canopy, which provides greater opportunities for basking, potentially at body temperatures that reduce infection rates and intensity of B. dendrobatidis. Photographs by D. Hunter.
