Summary:
Lake Elizabeth in the Great Otway National Park. The lake was formed in the 1950s when a landslide dammed the valley and drowned the large trees that are now just slowly sinking giants. Lake Elizabeth now provides a home for many water-loving animals and plants, with platypus a common sight in the early mornings and evenings.
