Summary:
Figure 55. Native stands of weeping peppermint (Agonisflexuosa) (foreground) at its most northern natural extent in the metropolitan region. The Rottnest Island pine (Callitris preissii) (background left) reaches its most northerly extension in the Perth region. In the past, both species have been extensively planted throughout coastal dunes with little regard for local genetic sources.
