Summary:
Figure 2.5: Ignition sources of fires between 1922 and 2012 across (a) north-east British Columbia (BC) and the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area and (b) seven watersheds within north-east BC based on the historical wildfire polygon dataset from the BC Wildfire Service (Leverkus 2015). Although all attempts are made to spatially document all fires in the region, it is possible that fires may have gone undetected before the availability of high-quality remotely sensed data.
