Summary: 
A harlequin toad (Atelopus ssp.) breeding enclosure that mimics a flowing stream. The stacked valves allow husbandry workers to easily adjust water levels. The variety of large and small rocks can provide a variety of oviposition sites. Multiple bubblers help oxygenate the water and its rate of flow to mimic a moving stream, which is the species’ natural habitat. Photo credit: J. Guerrel.
