Summary: 
Mitchell’s Rainforest Snail, Thersites mitchellae (SD to 45 mm). The snail lives in remnant patches of subtropical lowland rainforest between the Richmond and Tweed rivers, north-east New South Wales. Listed as Critically Endangered on the EPBC Act and Endangered on the New South Wales Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. A Recovery Plan has been adopted, but several proposed actions have yet to be put in place.
