Summary: 
JEAN-GABRIEL PRÊTRE Dusky Robin Melanodryas vittata and White-breasted Robin Eopsaltria georgiana. Hand-coloured engraving, 21.5 × 13.3 cm; 1832. Collected at Hobart, Tasmania (1827) and King George Sound, Western Australia (1826), respectively, the robins were illustrated by Prêtre in the Natural History Museum in Paris. New to science, they were published and named in Dumont D’Urville’s Voyage de la Corvette Astrolabe.
