Summary:
ONA HENDERSON Red-tailed Black-Cockatoos Calyptorhynchus banksii. Watercolour, 43 × 70 cm; 2008. Henderson says that this work, titled ‘Journey Thru’ Timeless Land’, was painted in response to the ‘hundreds of these noble birds that surrounded us near Uluru. We camped under their roost and rued the fact that their numbers had vastly dwindled throughout the land.’
