Summary:
Key to Western Australian species of DecaisninaIt is difficult to circumscribe some Australian species of Decaisnina. Barlow’s (1993) revision of the genus resulted in substantial modification to his (1984) treatment in Flora of Australia and the Flora of the Kimberley Region (Rye 1992). The 1993 revision is followed here.Decaisnina signata subsp. signata has been recorded in WA but it is probable that specimens are referrable to D. angustata; it is not included in the key. The taxa differ in D. signata subsp. cardiophylla having truncate to cordate leaf bases that are (almost) sessile while D. angustata has leaves that are attenuate into a (sometimes obscure) winged petiole.
