Summary: 
Summary of possible time scales for cracticid/artamid diversifications and radiations to Africa and New Guinea (condensed from latest proposals). Note that all these time frames overlap suggesting the possibility that diversifications might have happened within shorter time-spans than the graph above might imply. Currawongs (not shown here) appear to be less closely related to magpies than butcherbirds but seem to have evolved earlier than butcherbirds, according to Kearns and colleagues.22
