Summary:
The impressive endangered Cassowary of the tropical Australian rainforest. The survival of this iconic bird continues to be under threat from car accidents, domestic dogs, feral pigs and habitat loss. Seasonal changes in fruiting patterns in the rainforest have recently seen food supplies diminish drastically at certain times of the year.
