Summary: 
Figure 3.3: Among the canola fields, these exemplar shelterbelts were planted on Pam and Rick Martin’s farm, Burnbank (see Chapter 1), near Wagga Wagga in NSW. The plantings were established in the mid-1990s and have been subject to biodiversity monitoring by Sustainable Farms for almost 20 years. Several bird species of conservation concern, including the Speckled Warbler and Rufous Whistler, have bred successfully in these plantings. Photo by Rick Martin.
