Summary: 
Phylogeny of the S. macroura group from Blacket et al. (2001). Tree is based on additive best-fit analysis of weighted-average distances for 12S and CR loci assuming the F84 model of DNA evolution. Numbers on nodes are bootstrap support values >50%. Branch length scale is substitutions/site. ‘Ane’, ‘As’ and ‘Aw’ delimit haplotype clusters within S. macroura.
