Summary: 
Progeny trial of Acacia peregrinalis growing at Bengkoka, Sabah. This fastigate tree would be an outlier in any analysis of growth traits and should be excluded. There were, however, several trees of this type in the trial, all of the same family, suggesting the fastigate trait may be under genetic control and that the trait should not be ignored.
